Artichoke Hummus

Did you know that canned foods can be a hallmark of a healthy diet? And with just a few canned ingredients like artichoke hearts, garbanzo bean, and vegetable broth, this nutritious and delicious snack is ready to serve in no time!

Prep time: 10-15 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Artichoke Hummus


1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained
1 (15-ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup canned vegetable broth
1/4 cup tahini paste
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon chopped Italian Parsley, plus more for garnish
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
Serving suggestion: Toasted French bread slices, cut veggies or pita chips**


Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Season to taste with additional salt and pepper, if necessary.

Transfer to serving bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil, fresh parsley, and a dash of cumin, if desired.
