Cuban Sandwiches

Cuban Sandwiches

INGREDIENTS

1 (12-ounce) can Spam luncheon meat
4 small Ciabatta rolls, each split in half**
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
8 slices Swiss cheese
8 slices dill pickle sandwich toppers

PREPARATION

Cut Spam horizontally into 8 thin slices. Spread mustard on cut sides of rolls. Top each half with a slice of Swiss cheese, 2 pickles, 2 Spam slices and ending with cheese slice. Close sandwiches.

Cook in a Panini press or in a buttered skillet over medium heat, until golden and cheese has melted, about 5 minutes.
